FREE Grounding Meditation
A Simple (and FREE) Grounding Meditation
Finding it hard to set boundaries?
Struggling to birth ideas into the world or keep your focus steady?
You might need to get grounded - literally.
When we're ungrounded, we feel scattered, unstable, unsupported. Like we're floating through life without an anchor. This simple grounding meditation is designed to help you feel stable, supported, and completely yourself again—no matter where you are.
Step 1: Find Your Space
First things first: you need 15-20 minutes of quiet, uninterrupted time. If your boundaries at home aren't strong enough yet to claim that space (and hey, that's what we're working on!), it’s time to get creative:
• Park your car 15 minutes early before picking up the kids
• Get to work early and sit in your car
• Find a peaceful park where you feel safe
• Ask a friend if you can use their quiet space
• Even a bathroom with a lock works in a pinch
The key is finding somewhere you won't be interrupted. This is YOUR time.
Step 2: Get Comfortable
Once you've found your space, give yourself permission to be fully present. Get comfortable - whether you're sitting in a chair, lying on a mat, or reclined in your car seat.
Grab a shawl if you think you'll get cold (you'll be still for approximately 15 minutes). Open a window if you need fresh air. Adjust the temperature. Do whatever you need to feel at ease.
This is about creating a space where you can be completely, unapologetically present with yourself.

Step 4: After the Meditation - Building the Practice
Here's the thing: grounding isn't a one-time fix. It's a practice. The more you do it, the easier it gets—and the quicker you'll be able to drop into that grounded, stable state whenever you need it.
Aim for daily if you can. At minimum, commit to 2-3 times per week. Your body will start to recognise the ritual, and you'll find yourself able to ground in just a few breaths instead of 15 minutes.
And when you're grounded? That's when ideas flow. That's when you can finally feel stable, supported, and present in your own life. That's when boundaries become easier.
Ready to try it? Find your space, hit play on the meditation, and give yourself this gift.
